The Trajectory Process

At Trajectory, we believe in a transparent, targeted and effective process to bring next level growth solutions to you and your organization. In order to do that, we have engaged the best thinking and strategy available, at any cost, to help you individualize your next steps.

We begin with a comprehensive, individualized assessment in real terms of your blocking issues, growth potential, and outcome timeframe. We call this the “Azimuth Assessment.” Over a 2-3 day initial visit, we undertake a deep dive into your organization – its processes, strategies, personnel, etc. This takes place in the first days of our relationship, with a full assessment report delivered within 4 weeks of our engagement.

The Azimuth Assessment, developed in collaboration with our best-in-class consultants, and derived from similar assessment tools only available to corporate clients at unapproachable cost, is provided by Trajectory. This assessment is separate from our retainer cost and remains with you, regardless of any subsequent engagement with us, as a tool to address many organizational issues.

 

As part of the Azimuth tool, your organization receives a specific plan to address the key issues blocking your ability to break through growth. While lack of funding is often seen as a crucial barrier to organizational growth, our experience informs us that there are several additional barriers that must be overcome as well. Our assessment and plan addresses each of these additional potential obstacles to success as well.

Our team of contracted consultants have C-Suite level experience in addressing these issues in the context of small and medium sized non-profits.  Trajectory provides this team to you as determined by the assessment plan at a dramatically subsidized rate in order to make their expertise affordable to your budget.

A distinctive element in our approach is that we clearly state our objective and timeframe. There is no “open” guesswork about what we will achieve, or how long it will take for us to get there. Our consulting retainer is modest – no more than the cost of a single fundraising staff person – with guaranteed results. 


Our goal in this program is unambiguous – we intend to achieve our mutual growth goals for your organization within 12-24 months of engagement. Our commitment is that when we complete our engagement with you, your organization will be equipped to engage further growth with clear organizational strategies for the long term.
